A truly gorgeous instrument, this Custom Telecaster was spec'd from the ground up, by us! The goal here was to create a guitar that subtly cloaks some performer-friendly modern additives/'Easter eggs' while maintaining the prestige and style of a Custom Telecaster from 1960.

First, the Bigsby B5 with it's accompanying offset style bridge was an irresistible choice. The B5 rarely looks more at home than on a Tele that's been through the ringer.  It's a subtle, but effective system that adds a slight queezy warpage to chords and leads in the best possible way and really amps up that 'customized' appeal.

The annoyance of having to remove the neck on most vintage Fenders to access the truss rod is real. Addressed here by the switch to the modern 'headstock' adjustment location, it might be a feature you didn't realize was crucial, but is so handy your tech will shriek with delight.

The 'Tone-Saver' as dubbed by Fender, is a brilliant and simple addition for anyone that rides the volume control for dynamic variation. It may be a lost art in today's world of 'there's a pedal for that', but the simplicity, increased control and expansion of the tonal palette by adding this little modification really opens up the possibility of eliminating some redundancies located on the floor.

Possibly the coolest and most interesting feature of this one-of-a-kind Tele is the black-over-red-sparkle over-spray.  It's been discovered by some that their old custom-coloured Fender actually sported some different duds before leaving the factory. This was the inspiration behind the slightly relic'd black paint having a few spots where the funeral ends and the birthday party begins.

If the highlighted eccentricities aren't your thing, this also happens to be one tremendous Telecaster. Solid, reliable and sonically perfected complete with a pair of hand-wound Josefina pickups.
