Voiced with the traditional X-bracing pattern that Bob used in the 1990s and 2000s, this model is updated to feature Taylor's modern, patented neck design that optimizes playability and allows for easy micro-adjustability.
The appointments reflect the classic detailing of the 514ce for many years, including faux tortoiseshell binding with a matching pickguard, black and white top purfling, Small Diamond fretboard inlays in mother-of-pearl, a three-ring rosette in green abalone, ebony bridge pins with green abalone dots, gold Taylor tuning machines, and a gloss-finish body with a satin-finish neck.
